- 1/2 C. Butter

- 1/2 C. All Purpose Flour

- 3/4 Tsp. Kosher Salt

- 1/4 Tsp. Onion Powder

- 1/4 Tsp. Smoked Paprika

- 1/4 Tsp. Dry Mustard

- Pepper

- 2 C. Milk

- 8 oz. Marieke Smoked Gouda

- 3 Tbsp. Butter

- 1 C. Panko Breadcrumbs

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Begin to cook the macaroni as stated on box.

2. While the noodles are cooking, combine the flour, salt, mustard, onion, paprika, and pepper in a small bowl.

3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter on medium heat. Add in the flour and seasoning mixture & stir for about 1 minute.

4. Add the milk slowly and whisk constantly. Once all the milk is added, continue to stir and cook for 3-5 minutes, until sauce thickens.

5. Add in the cheese. Turn off the heat & stir until combined.

6. Add the sauce to the drained macaroni. Mix together & pour into a greased, 2 quart, casserole dish. (you can top with more cheese if desired)

7. In a small bowl, melt the other 3 tbsp. of butter in microwave. Add the breadcrumbs & stir until they are moist. Spread mixture evenly over the top of macaroni.

8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs start to brown. (you can broil the top for a few minutes to get that color)

9. Serve & Enjoy
