Homemade Pizza with Marieke® Gouda Smoked
Our Homemade Pizza Recipe with Smoked Gouda is a delicious and light meal that you can easily customize with your favorite toppings. The recipe is easy to follow and the smoked gouda adds a unique and flavorful twist to the classic pizza. Give it a try and enjoy a delicious homemade pizza that's both easy and customizable!
Ingredients:
- Pizza Dough
- Cooking Spray
- 1 Tbsp. Cornmeal
- 1/2 Cup Marieke® Gouda Smoked Cheese (shredded)
- 1 1/2 Cups Sliced Tomatoes (about 4)
- 2 Tsp. Olive Oil
- 2 Garlic Cloves (minced)
- 1/2 Tsp. Black Pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Thinly Sliced Basil
- Any other toppings you may like (we like to add mushrooms, onions, meat and more)
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 450°
2. Roll the dough into a 12-inch circle on sprinkled flour surface.
3. Place the dough on a baking sheet that's been sprayed with cooking spray
4. Form a rim on the dough with your fingers.
5. Bake at 450° for 5 minutes.
6. Sprinkle Cheese over Pizza Crust (you can add pizza sauce if wanted)
7. Arrange the tomato slices over the cheese. (add any additional toppings you may want - keep out any fresh herbs)
8. Combine oil and garlic, sprinkle over tomatoes. Top with pepper!
9. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes or lightly brown.
10. Top with basic & enjoy!
