Marieke's Truffle Gouda Fondue

Recipe by Gouda Chef ®Molly Schraufnagel

Ingredients (serves 4):

 

  • 2 cups Marieke Gouda 2-4 months, shredded

  • 2 cups Marieke Gouda Truffle, shredded

  • 1 garlic clove, halved

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 1 ¾ cups dry white wine

Directions:

 

  1. Toss cheese and cornstarch together set aside. Rub inside of medium saucepan with garlic half and inside of fondue pot with other half of garlic clove.

  2. Add wine to sauce pan and heat over medium low heat until wine start to simmer. Gradually add in cheese small amounts at a time stiffing constantly in a figure eight motion. Stir until cheese is fully melted being care to not let the mixture come to a boil. Add to prepared fondue pot and enjoy.
