Marieke's Black Mustard Gouda Cheese Sauce

Ingredients (serves 4):
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• ½ teaspoon dry mustard
• 1 cup half and half
• ½ cup water
• 1 ¼ cups shredded Marieke Gouda Black Mustard
Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Add flour and dry mustard stirring constantly until completely combined. Slowly whisk in half and half and water, bring to a boil. Stirring constantly reduce heat and simmer on low heat until sauce starts to thicken. Turn off the heat, whisk in Gouda until smooth.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve sauce over your favorite vegetable.
*If you prefer a thinner sauce, whisk in 2 to 3 tablespoons of hot water.
