Marieke® Gouda Cheesy Bread

Recipe by Gouda Chef ®Molly Schraufnagel

Ingredients (serves 10-12):

 

  • 1 loaf of French bread

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened

  • 1/2 cup real mayonnaise

  • 2 cup Marieke® Gouda Pesto Basil, shredded

Directions:

 

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Cut loaf in half length wise place on large baking sheet cut side up.

  2. Microwave garlic clove for 1 minute until soft, mash with a fork.

  3. Combine garlic, butter, mayonnaise, and Marieke® Gouda in a medium sized bowl. Spread mixture in an even layer over each bread half.

  4. Bake in oven for 15-18 minutes until cheese is melted and starts to turn light brown and bubbly. Cut into diagonal slices and serve immediately. Garnish with fresh basil or homemade brochette. Enjoy!
