Flavorful Marieke® Gouda Burgers

Ingredients (serves 6):


  •  2 lbs ground beef

  • 1 tablespon Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tablespoons barbeque sauce

  • 1 teaspoon steak seasoning

  • 1/2 cup + 6 tablespoons Marieke® Gouda Black Pepper Mix, shredded

  • 6 large hamburger buns

  • 1 recipe Burger Sauce: 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup real mayonnaise, 1/2 garlic clove (pressed).



  1. Gently toss with a fork to combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, barbeque sauce, steak seasoning, and 1/2 cup of Marieke® Gouda Black Pepper Mix.

  2. Shape beef into six hamburger patties. Grill until burgers reach an internal temperature of 130 degrees, top each burger with 1 tablespoon of Marieke® Gouda Black Pepper Mix Gouda and continue to cook until cheese is melted, about 1 minute. Transfer the burgers to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes.

  3. Butter a hot skillet and toast hamburger buns cut side down until golden brown.

  4. Whisk all ingredients for the Burger Sauce in a small bowl.

  5. Transfer the burgers to the toasted buns and top with Burger Sauce, serve immediately. Enjoy!
