Creamy Gouda Asparagus Bake

Ingredients (serves 6):

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, cut into 1” lengths

  • 2 cups Marieke’s Mustard Mélange Gouda, shredded

  • 1 tsp all-purpose flour

  • ½ teaspoon pepper

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 cup heavy cream


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly coat an 8” square baking dish with cooking spray. Place asparagus in prepared pan.

  2. Toss one cup Marieke’s Mustard Mélange Gouda with flour, stir into asparagus. In a small bowl combine pepper, salt, and garlic powder; evenly sprinkle over asparagus. Cut butter into small pieces and place on asparagus. Pour heavy cream over asparagus, top with remaining one cup of Marieke’s Mustard Mélange Gouda.

  3. Bake 25-45 minutes or until asparagus is your desired tenderness. Enjoy!
