Marieke Gouda Smoked Quesadilla

Recipe by Gouda Chef ®Molly Schraufnagel

Ingredients (serves 2-4):

  • 4- 8” flour tortillas

  • 4 ounces Marieke’s Smoked Gouda, shredded

  • 1 apple, thinly sliced

  • 4 ounces deli ham

Directions:

  1. Heat large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Lay two flour tortillas on work space, sprinkle each with one fourth of the cheese. Top cheese with half the ham and apple slices, sprinkle with remaining cheese. Top each with remaining tortillas, press down.

  3. Place in heated pan and cook until cheese starts to melt and tortilla starts to brown. Flip and continue cooking until tortilla browns and cheese is melted.

  4. Remove to cutting board, let rest 1-2 minutes. Cut into triangles. Enjoy!
